How Mighty Community Advocacy started….

Founded by Nishea Trinidad, who has spent over a decade organizing for and supporting adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse in the Bay Area and Central Valley.

Founded in 2020, Mighty Community Advocacy began as a response to the urgent medical and advocacy needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization has since grown into a robust, wrap-around service organization providing culturally-rooted care for youth navigating hospitals, courts, schools, and other impacting systems.

Mighty continues to center trauma-informed, culturally relevant, and youth-led healing.
