🌟 Mighty Families Cohort
Mighty Families is more than just a parents’ group—it’s a year-round community where families can grow, connect, and thrive together ☔😎🍂❄️.
We believe in creating spaces that bring joy, support, and learning opportunities for parents and their children. From adventures at the lake to exploring the zoo, to intimate mini-events designed just for parents and families, our group offers meaningful moments that build lasting connections.
Membership is open to all parenting and caregiving community members, no matter the season of life you’re in. While members who haven’t participated in the last 3 months may be moved to our archived list, they’re always welcome back at any time—just join us at upcoming events promoted on our social media and website.
By joining Mighty Families, you’re not just signing up for events—you’re becoming part of a circle of support, laughter, and shared experiences that grow with you and your family.
✨ Come for the fun. Stay for the community. Mighty Families is here for every season of parenting.

Birthing Connections
Every other month, Mighty opens its doors for Birthing Connections—a non-structured, organic space for expecting parents and parenting community members to gather, share, and grow together.
At Birthing Connections you might:
Practice partner prep activities, create something meaningful, like a birth or parenting vision board 🎨, meet a lactation consultant and get your questions answered, or simply relax, chat, and connect with others who understand the journey 💬.
Children are always welcome—this is a space for the whole family!

Making Waves | Route to Parks Summer Program
Our six-week summer program is designed to provide young parents under 26 and their children with a rich outdoor experience that combines education, community building, and advocacy. The program takes place once a week at Millerton Lake, just 27 minutes from City Hall, and includes approximately six hours of outdoor activities each day.
Participants begin each session with a 30-minute infant-toddler swim lesson, designed for parents and babies to engage together, building water confidence and safety skills.
Following swim lessons, families participate in an outdoor education component, such as wildlife observation or environmental science or specialized outdoor activity, such as kayaking or hiking, which lasts about 1.5 hours. Afterward, families enjoy a picnic lunch, allowing for relaxation and socializing in a natural setting.
