Donation Guidelines for Clothing
We all deserve access to clothing and other items needed before, during and after a baby enters our home. Therefore, we have developed these guidelines in alignment with this value. It is a wonderful way to practice mutual aid/community care instead of charity and/or the perception that there are people in “need” and people that “provide”.
This way of thinking can create an unconscious bias as well as inform our actions when we are donating to organizations that are providing free resources.
Here at Mighty we value mutual aid/community care because we all should be giving and receiving: each to their own ability, accessibility, and level of resources.
What clothes we accept
baby clothes & footwear: newborn - adolescent sizes
clothing for current birthing persons
clothing for post-birthing persons
